Physical Property

Heat Treatment Process

Quenching: Heating to 880°C to 920°C, followed by rapid cooling in water or oil.

Tempering: Heating to 200°C to 500°C to achieve desired hardness and toughness.

2. High-strength fasteners and connectors.

3. High load gears and bearings.

Delivery status

Delivered with heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or without heat treatment.

After quenching and tempering, the material can be used as grinding wheel shafts, gears, and sprockets. Mill the blade with a carbide milling cutter and polish with a polishing machine. There should be no problem if the surface roughness reaches 3.2. The material is darker in color, and galvanizing can improve the surface quality and also prevent rust.
